The "Alt Modling" farmhouse in Geichlingen on the border to Luxemburg, built in 1830 and protected as an ancient monument, lies surrounded by meadows, fields and woods in the nature paradise of the Eifel, combines historical architectural features with a comfortable, modern atmosphere and thus offers its guests rest and relaxation of the highest standard.The hosts of this exclusive 5-star house, Uschi and Wolfgang Wagner, lovingly converted the old farmhouse in recent years with great attention to detail. Four high-quality, charming and individual vacation apartments, complete with antique furniture were created by this renovation. The apartments, of between 55 and 140 square meters, bear names representing the functions they had in the former farmhouse. Thus the guests live in the Huhnerleiter (Hen Roost), the Kornspeicher (Granary), the Flurkueche (Kitchen), or the luxurious light-flooded Tenne (Threshing Floor) of the former farmyard barn in which the large glazed barn door provides that special flair.
