LANDGASTHAUS Feasting and enjoying yourself in the Hinkelshof restaurant: One can sit for hours in the cosy atmosphere of the traditional restaurant in what used to be a cowshed and stable. Specialities from Eifel cuisine, such as home-made flour dumplings with bacon sauce and apple sauce, and broad beans with grilled ham and fried potatoes spoil the guests’ palate. An additional, special feature are the Eifel oatcakes made by the host himself [herself] in the stone baking oven. For groups, the Hinkelshof provides grilled suckling pig with tasty side dishes. Anyone who would like to enjoy Eifel delicacies at home has the possibility of purchasing fresh products in the Hofladen [“farm shop”], such as goat’s cheese, marmalade, different types of sausage and other specialities from the region.
