Spirits have been produced in the Billen Hof for more than 80 years.

Since that time, the tradition of distilling has been passed on from one generation to the next. High quality spirits are produced from native fruit, which means that the meadow orchards typical of the Eifel region are maintained at the same time. Today, the Billen Brewery cultivates around 300 fruit trees in its meadows.

Due to the high level of demand, in recent years additional fruit has had to be bought in. Only high quality fruit from selected traders is purchased. A new distilling vat was also acquired in 2003.
